Tempranillo 2023
This wine has the typical plum and red berry fruit characteristics of Tempranillo, with a lovely soft palate, fine tannins, good length and savory notes.
It has an intense fruit profile and colour thanks to the grapes being picked a little later than usual.
Ideal with grilled and roasted meats and Mediterranean dishes.
Verdelho 2023
This year's Verdelho is richer in colour and flavour reflecting last summer's conditions.
Citrus flavours predominate but with hints of passionfruit and lychees. The wine has a lovely golden hue with its familiar light texture.
The wine is a distinctive aperitif and an excellent match with pork, poultry and savoury Asian dishes.
Natural Sparkling 2023
This release is made with Verdelho grapes using the so called 'ancestral method'. The wine is bottled before fermentation is complete, allowing bubbles to be created without adding sugar. The technique is often referred to as Pet Nat.
The flavour and fragrance are of intense fruit with a lively, easy drinking style. Best drunk within 2 years of bottling.
Fiano 2023
This is our first year's release of Fiano, an Italian white variety originating in the Avellino area east of Naples.
The wine has typical cool climate characteristics--high acidity and minerality giving it a freshness on the palate. It is a delicious summer wine with citrus, pear and almond flavours.
It pairs well with seafood dishes and cheeses.
